About me:

I am supposed to be studying right now for tomorrow's paper but honestly, I can't be fucked. :/ Pardon my crudeness but this is who I am and if you can't stand me, well too bad. I don't really care.

Anyway... since I cannot study, I have decided to update my about me:

I wrote this on the 25th of February and was about to publish it when I thought it was a little too private to publish. But then I figured that there is no point keeping a private life from a public life because no matter how private you are, you will still be exposed to the public no?

So anyway, I have decided to publish this post since I will be gone for 4 days and rather than having a short and meaningless post stay on this page for the 4 days, I want this post to be here instead.

I am Vilvian. I know. Many people either drop the "L" because they think it's a spelling error or think I am a foreigner because I am not called Vivian. -_-

It's pretty annoying actually. But I guess I shall tell you the story of why I am named Vilvian and not Vivian. About 15 years ago, I was actually really named Vivian. But because my mother was a superstitious woman and someone told her if I was still named Vivian, I will only love my father and not my mother, they changed my name. I have a certificate for my change of name if you're wondering. It's an official name and it's not made up. So there, I hope the next time you talk to me... At least bother getting the name correct.

It's so annoying to talk to people who do not bother getting my name correct.

Moving on, I study in Temasek Polytechnic and major in Marketing. I never used to like Marketing because I hated advertisements with a vengeance. God, how irritating is it. Always disrupting my shows and worst still, cutting short my show times. If they say it's a 1 hour show, at least 20 minutes will be dedicated to commercials. It was so annoying that I changed the channel whenever commercials came in.

I started changing my opinion as soon as I started studying about Marketing though. I learned a lot and now I am actually looking forward to watching commercials. I even Youtube them to see the more interesting ones. I guess Singapore commercials were just not interesting enough to capture my interest...

I am an absolute procrastinator. I procrastinate at everything I do unless it is absolutely important - like messaging the boyfriend and checking out my twitter. Ahem. Yes, I do procrastinate a lot. I procrastinate at eating - hence screwing my gastric for the umpteenth time. I procrastinate at making my Valentine's Day present for the boyfriend - which is still not done... -_- I procrastinate at studying. :/

Not good.

I am a very family-oriented person. I like to be with my family and I love annoying them. I am very close to my parents and I love them with every beat of my heart. I snuggle in bed with them almost every night.

And I really am a kid at heart whenever I am with them. ♥

I dream a lot and one of my biggest dream is to own a fashion brand of my own. I am not a very fashionable person but I do know what is most comfortable and can tell what is beautiful and what is not. I've learned fashion design before because I took it as a cross-disciplinary subject early last year. And I really love Fashion.

My aim is to set up a fashion brand of my own by my birthday next year. (It was going to be this year but saving up is a bitch) I have one million and one ideas for the retail concept but no capital at all. -_- It's so difficult to save up when food is your best friend.
