X'Mas. How lovely, NOT.

No, really.

I never got Christmas.

Not that I haven't got my fair share of Christmas gifts or Christmas dinners but I just never got IT.

Why is it that people are always so infectiously joyous on this occasion? To put it in simpler terms, why wait till Christmas when it's just as commercialized as any other occasions like Valentine's day and oh!

Mothers' Day & Fathers' Day?

As a child, I never understood why we needed occasions to remind ourselves that the people around us actually matter.

Why we needed Christmas to realize we had a

Fathers' Day to realize how

DADDY HAS PLAYED SUCH A HUGE PART IN OUR LIVES.

Was completely beyond a 10 year old me (which was when all these thoughts rushed through my mind).

But now I think I understand.

Because people are no longer free.

They no longer have eyes to see that the people around them actually matter because they only have eyes for work.

I know this because until today, I never realized how much I valued my family and friends.

But anyway,

EVERYTHING NICE ASIDE!

I am only bitter about Christmas this year because I am swarmed with WORK and I don't have a lover to keep me warm. Not like I had them previous years, (since I had to work at horrible boutiques AND get molested by TERRIBLE INDIAN DUDES)

but this year...

I really just want someone to hug and kiss and tell me I very pretty leh.

):

My boyfriend is only coming home after Christmas.

Guess who's leading a sad & unlovely Christmas this year?

So Christmas just isn't that lovely for me this year after all. But that doesn't mean you guys can't have fun! Go out and have a lovely dinner with your friends and family members. Tell everyone you love them. Smile at them. TELL ME YOU LOVE ME!

Hehehe.

Okay,

I really really need to get back to work now.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
(By the way, why does Green & Red represent Christmas uh? Can some kind soul kindly enlighten me?)

Toodles!
