Counting My Blessings

The end of 2009 is reaching us in less than 2 weeks. This is the post that has come about 9 days early to count my blessings. This year hasn't been a very happy year with all the terrible family issues (& classmates drama) but I have to say that my best friends make everything worthwhile and a lot happier.

(can't believe I don't have a decent looking picture of the two of us at all on my mac. This is me looking oily & greasy during class chalet this year & him looking at the television. FML.)

I am thankful for the boyfriend who has been nothing but nice to me throughout this entire year. I guess he's finally realized how much of a jerk he has been to me (sometimes) last year.

This year started off on a good note with him.

We celebrated Valentine's day with GV gold class.

We celebrated my birthday with an expensive Sentosa Spa & Resort treat.

We celebrated our 4th year anniversary (!!!) with Au Petit Salut.

Wow. This year has been pretty expensive on his part. I am going to try and save up more to make him a happier boy next year.

(We only took about 7 pictures during our entire meet-up and this is the best picture I can find of the 2 of us already. I know I look terrible so shut up okay.)

I am thankful for the other male best friend in my life named Ong Jian Yu. Although we don't meet up often or talk online/offline often, he's always there for me. He's always there to comfort me when things go wrong for me. And he's always there to reassure me. Haha. And the first thing he said to me when we FINALLY met up this year (since graduation) was

"You become prettier already"

HAHA. SO SWEET RIGHT! No one tells me I am pretty other than him & Wesley leh. ): All of you who says I am ugly go and die k. I don't care.

I am also of course thankful for the 2 best girlfriends I can ever ask for in my life by the name of Nisa Jabbar (AKA mi-lian) and Charmaine (AKA charella). This year breezed through so quickly partly because of the company I had from the two of them with Charella missing for the larger part of the year. I am really thankful for all the comfort, fun and joy that I have found with the 2 of them around.

Who else clubs on beds & dance to crazy music in beach resorts? Who else can I be comfortable enough to change in front of? Who else will sit down and listen to all my woes without ever judging me? Who else comes with you to chalets although it gets really boring? Who else takes retarded pictures of you/with you?

2009 flew by so quickly. I haven't absorbed everything that I've experienced for this entire year. But yes, I am really really thankful for the people who's been around me so far. This entry is only the start of the series of my counting of blessings. Continue reading to spot your names. (:
